Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are hitched. Yes, you read that right. Showbiz's most talked-about lovers are finally man and wife now. The couple allegedly walked down the aisle in a private ceremony in Los Angeles this weekend after procuring their marriage license last week.

But don't lose hearts, people! For all who have been waiting eagerly for the much-talked about wedding  to take place amidst all the bells and whistles, the secretive ceremony is likely to be followed by a lavish extravaganza in Paris later this month.

The couple, who are already parents to the 10-month old North, will take vows on May 24 before jetting off to a hush-hush location for a honeymoon, we hear.

Kimye had to wed in California before the romantic wedding planned in Paris as the French law required a strict 40-day residency before getting married in the country. Determined to make their Parisian wedding a reality and an experience that heir 200 guests will never forget, the couple have zeroed down on Trianon Palace hotel for the stay in.

It's heard that all the guests at the do will be welcomes with goodie bags containing 300 pounds bottles of Bollinger champagne, 120 ponds Creme de la Mer products, handmade souvenir trinkets with Kim and Kanye's initials etched in Swarovski crystals, bottles of scent from local perfumeries and 150 pounds voucher for hotel spa treatment.
