Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the commencement, initiation, and dedication of over 2,000 railway infrastructure projects valued at approximately ₹41,000 crore. During his speech, Modi emphasized that this event exemplifies the work ethic of 'New India'. He stated, "This program symbolizes the work culture of New India. Presently, India works at an unprecedented speed and scale. We have left behind modest ambitions and now dream big, striving to achieve those dreams as soon as possible." Additionally, Modi expressed his confidence in securing a third term for his government. "Today, we have laid the foundation stone and inaugurated more than two thousand railway projects. The third term of our government is set to begin in June. The magnitude and pace of our work have left everyone amazed," he shared. As part of the event, Modi also initiated the redevelopment of 553 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. In his video address, he acknowledged the recent launch of various development projects, highlighting the impressive scale and efficiency of his government's work.

In the past decade, I have witnessed the construction of a new India, marked by significant changes in the railway sector. This includes the introduction of Vande Bharat trains, a focus on cleanliness, and the electrification of tracks. Unlike previous governments, my administration has put an end to the misappropriation of public funds, ensuring that every penny earned is invested in improving railway services. The Indian Railways, which used to be a victim of political games, has now become the cornerstone of convenient travel and a major source of employment. However, I must caution the public that the increase in budget, brought about by our growing economy, will not make a difference if revenue continues to be lost due to corruption. Additionally, we are utilizing renovated railway stations to promote local culture and support artisans. The days of lamenting the financial losses of the railways are behind us; it has now become a powerful agent of transformation. To the youth of our nation, I want to assure you that your dreams are my commitment. Your aspirations, combined with hard work, are the guarantee of a developed India. Politicians from both the national and local level came together to participate in the nationwide event.
