Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu was arrested on Saturday and sent to Rajahmundry Central Prison after court ordered for 14 days of judicial remand in a Skill Development scam case. He was accused of transferring Rs 371 Cr to shell companies.

Chandrababu Naidu in Rajahmundry Central Prison settled down in a special room in the Sneha Block. He was allotted Prisoner number 7691. He was transferred to Rajahmundry from Vijayawada after prolonged arguments in ACB court on Sunday. 73-year-old Babu was tired after having two hectic days of travel, that is from Nandyal - to Vijayawada - to Rajahmundry.

On Day 1: It was almost 2:30 AM for Naidu to settle down in his special room. On Monday he got up early and started practicing Yoga and Meditation. He was served breakfast with fruit salad. Police also provide him with hot water to prepare black coffee.

Naidu was permitted to have home food and medicines. For his lunch, he received home food, which was cooked brown rice, Ladies finger fry, Paneer curry, curd and hot water. The prison authorities have checked the food before serving it to the VIP prisoner as part of the protocol. Guards were also allocated for Naidu, that is to provide him protection. Naidu met only three persons from his family yesterday. He was allowed to meet his family members twice a week.
