Attempt to murder case booked on Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh police have booked an attempt to murder case on TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu. He was booked under the sections of attempt to murder and rioting in Annamayya district under sections 120B, 147, 148, 153, 307, 115, 109, 323, 324, 506 r/w 149 of the Indian penal code following the fight between the YSRCP and TDP workers during CBN’s visit.

Several public, party workers and police were injured. On Friday in Chittoor, an FIR was registered against Chandrababu Naidu and 20 other TDP leaders. In the incident, thirteen policemen were severely injured and underwent treatment in a government hospital in Chittoor.

Superintendent of Police Y Rishant Reddy has said that the situation in Chittoor is currently under control and there is no need for the CrPC144 section. According to police, Chandrababu Naidu has alleged YS Jagan’s regime with derogatory remarks at Mulakalacheruvu in Annamayya district, where he called the local MLA as ‘Ravan’. YSRCP supporters blocked the way to Chandrababu Naidu, where TDP cadres had stone-pelting on the blocked supporters of YSRCP, which led to many injuries on either side.

Currently CBN is on his Yudha Bheri tour, which covers 2,500 km starting from Nandikotkur to Pathapatnam. He was highlighting the YS Jagan’s governance and also Jagan’s failure over-irrigation in the state in this tour.
