BJP senior leader from Andhra Pradesh, Venkaiah Naidu has been assigned the Vice-President post and there were rumors that Modi wanted to keep Venkaiah Naidu at a spot. Venkaiah Naidu's tenure as Vice-President will come to an end and everyone lauded his work. Venkaiah Naidu also completed his role as the Rajya Sabha Chairman and the productivity of the House has increased to 70 percent. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the work and efforts of Venkaiah Naidu in the Rajya Sabha house. He said that Venkaiah Naidu has set standards and a legacy that will continue in the house by his successors.

The term of Venkaiah Naidu is coming to an end on August 10th. "Venkaiah Naidu worked on the principle that let the government propose and the opposition oppose and let the house dispose off. Venkaiah Naidu has a passion for all the Indian languages. This is clearly visible in the house. His famous one-liners are wit-liners. There is a substance as well as depth. I have worked with Venkaiah Naidu for several years closely. I have seen Venkaiah Naidu taking up several responsibilities and he performed everything with perfection. He also devoted a major part of his time for the welfare of the youth. We will celebrate this Independence Day with the new President and Vice-President" told Narendra Modi about Venkaiah Naidu.
