India reported 12,729 new cases of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours. The total tally of cases climbed to 3,43,33,754 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. There are 12,165 recoveries in India in the last 24 hours and a total number of 3,37,24,959 recoveries reported till date in total. There are 1,48,922 active cases of coronavirus in India. 221new deaths are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total death tally climbed to 4,49,873 in India. A total number of 1,07,70,46,116 vaccine doses are administered in India in total till date and a total number of 5,65,276 vaccines are given yesterday as it was Diwali.

The active cases in the country reached the lowest till date. The recovery rate in India climbed to 98.23 percent. More than 15.54 crore doses of coronavirus vaccines are still available with the states and the union territories as per the reports from the Centre. A total number of 116.50 crore vaccine doses are provided by the government to the states and the union territories. The vaccine developer Novovax told that it completed the process of submission for the emergency use of the vaccine for the World Health Organization (WHO). The active cases in the country are less than 1 percent of the total cases and the active cases are 0.43 percent of the total reported cases. The weekly positivity rate is 1.25 percent. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested in India are said to be 6,70,847 and the samples tested for coronavirus in total are 61,30,17,614.
