Meanwhile, tensions have surrounded the BJP government, as the NEP 2020 cabinet meeting which took place recently at Prime Minister’s residence had Amit Shah as one of the attendee.

The sources have said that strict social distancing has been followed at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, Modi’s residence.

Following the outbreak of COVID-19, strict protocol is being followed at the PM’s residence since the last few months. Temperature checks, arogya setu checks and no ferrying of internal cars to outsiders and strict social distancing and online video meetings are given preference.

However, the NEP 2020 policy being the major one, the meeting had to be held physically at Prime Minister’s residence where strict social distancing was followed. The Prime Minister had official approved the National Educational Policy in this meeting.

Apart from Amit Shah, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa had also tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday i.e., yesterday.
