After the Yamuna river is flowing above the danger mark, Delhi cabinet ministers Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Raj and Raaj Kumar Anand are looking after the revive measures. Delhi government also released guidelines for construction sites and contractors, they will be blacklisted if any loss of life or injury happens in the site at this time.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has called for an emergency meeting as the water has entered the prominent areas of Delhi. Police have imposed 144 Cr PC in the national capital in flood-prone areas. Kejriwal wrote a letter to Amit Shah clearing that Delhi will flood anytime as the Yamuna would reach the level of 207.72 metres. Arvind Kejriwal said that the reason for the high volume of water is because of the release of the Hathnikund barrage in Haryana. CM urged the Haryana government to release water at limited levels.

On the flip side, the continuous heavy rains have claimed 34 lives in past three days. Cities and Towns are submerged in knee-deep water. The weather forecast predicted that Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Delhi and nearby states will see more rains in the coming days. The images are frightening and if this continues North India will be submerged in flood water.
