The second wave of coronavirus is yet to calm down and close to 40,000 cases are reported per day in the country. World Health Organisation Chief Scientist Dr Soumya Swaminathan said that the coronavirus in India will soon be entering into the endemic stage and there is a low or moderate level of transmission that is going on. This is the stage when the population comes to learn about the virus. Soumya Swaminathan expressed her confidence that the technical group of WHO will be satisfied to issue the clearance of Covaxin. Soumya Swaminathan said that the clearance will be issued in the mid of September.
