Narendra Modi keen on a Cabinet reshuffle

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is facing the heat because of the second wave of coronavirus. The government is criticized for the poor pace of the ongoing vaccination drive when all the countries are racing ahead. Narendra Modi has been holding several meetings and is discussing about the cabinet reshuffle in the country soon. Narendra Modi met Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP Chief JP Nadda on Friday and discussed about the developments. Narendra Modi hasn't made changes to the Union Cabinet after Narendra Modi took oath for the second time in 2019. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the top leaders of BJP during his recent New Delhi visit and this added strength to the speculations about the cabinet reshuffle.

Narendra Modi is keen to meet several crucial leaders and discuss about the cabinet reshuffle. Several top BJP leaders met Narendra Modi in his residence a day after Amit Shah met various leaders. As of now, there is no official word coming from the BJP sources. JP Nadda also held a meeting with the General Secretaries of BJP through a virtual meeting. India is getting ready for a new round of Assembly elections in five states in 2022. Narendra Modi is keen to make changes for the Union cabinet. As of now, there is no clarity about the exits and new entrants into the Cabinet. Narendra Modi and Amit Shah will take the final call on this very soon.
