Indian ace cricketer and legendary player Sachin Tendulkar is the latest celebrity to get tested positive for coronavirus. The cricketer himself revealed the news saying that he had a random test and the result is positive. Sachin is currently in home quarantine and none of his family members are tested positive for coronavirus. The number of coronavirus cases are the highest in Maharashtra currently and the state reported more than 37,000 cases in the last 24 hours. Several states are kept on high alert after the huge rise in the number of new coronavirus cases. Mumbai reported 5500 new cases in the last 24 hours which is the highest after the pandemic started.

"I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. I've quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors. Take care all of you" posted Sachin Tendulkar on his official social media page after he was tested positive for coronavirus.
