President Donald Trump is refusing to publicly commit to the results of upcoming White House elections. He said this in an interview to fox news.

In what comes as a similar reaction by Trump in 2016, he is not willing to abide by the election results this time too.

“I have to see…Look…I have to see”, he responded to moderator Chris Wallace during an interview with Fox channel. He says he is neither going to say yes nor will he say no to the election results this year as he did the same during the last elections.

In response to Trump’s statement, the Biden Campaign said that the people of America would decide the results of the election and the United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of White House.

Recently, Trump has scoffed when he was lagging behind democrat Joe Biden and said that it is too early to make such an ironclad guarantee. He has also hammered the Pentagon brass for favoring renaming bases.

The Republican President, Trump in the interview with Fox news has also said that Dr. Anthony Fauci, nation’s top infectious disease expert, is an alarmist and had stuck to what he had said in February that the coronavirus is going to disappear.

The United States currently stands top on the list of worst affected nations by coronavirus with 140,000 deaths and 3.7 million confirmed positive cases.

It is regular for any presidential candidate to abide by the election polls but for Trump it became a regular practice of not accepting the results which reminds the day when Trump said he wouldn’t commit to election results if Hillary Clinton had won.

When asked in the interview recently if he would go by the voters, Trump said that he would keep everyone in suspense. Trump has seen his popularity being eroded with his poor handling of the coronavirus situation and also in the racial injustice in the recent George Floyd situation.

Trump asserted in the interview that a series of polls showing his popularity eroding and Joe Biden being on the brighter side are faulty. He also said that Republican voters are not represented properly in such surveys.

Trump has frequently attacked Wallace with his rhetoric by defending himself in handling the pandemic and said that Wallace lacks the prowess to become the President of United States.

Responding to the Black Lives Matter Movement, he said that he could understand why Black Americans were upset with the police using force against them disproportionately.

When asked about the Coronavirus pandemic, he said that the increasing testing across United States is the only reason for the cases to see such a spike.
