Around 10 people killed and nearly 60 injured in a firing and bomb blast outside a mosque in Hayatabad area in Pakistan.

The attacks come just two months after the deadly terror attack in Peshawar school that killed more than 150 people. The firing is still on in the area of imambargah in the Hayatabad area, the Dawn reported.

The incident occurred in a Masjid during the prayer time on Friday, it is said that still there may possibility of rise in death toll.

Senior police official Rana Umer Hayat told a news agency “several gunmen threw grenades before storming the Imamia mosque in Peshawar, the main city in Pakistan`s restive northwest”.

Security teams have been beefed up and the rescue operations have been conducted in the blast place.
