There is a huge rise in the new number of coronavirus cases in the country. A total number of 46,164 cases are reported in India in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases reached 3,25,58,530. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, a total number of 34,159 people recovered completely in the past 24 hours and the total number of recoveries in the India reached 3,17,88,440. 607 deaths are reported in the last 24 hours in India and the total deaths reached 4,36,365. There are 3,33,725 active cases in India for now and the total number of Indians who got administered with coronavirus are 60,38,46,475 and the vaccines administered yesterday are said to be 80,40,407.

Kerala alone reported 31,445 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and 215 deaths are reported in the state. Maharashtra reported 5031 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. There are 1.7 lakh active cases for coronavirus in Kerala. The national recovery rate reached 97.63 percent as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. There is a 22.7 percent jump in the new cases in country when compared to yesterday. The daily positivity rate is 2.58 percent. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, the total samples that are tested in India on August 25th are said to be 17,87,283 and the samples tested till date are 51,31,29,378.
