The second wave of coronavirus is in the country and the spread is huge. The number of new cases in the country are increasing at a rapid speed. A total number of 1,84,372 new cases for coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total tally of cases reached 1,38,73,825. 82,339 people got discharged in the country in the last 24 hours and 1027 people died in total as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of people who recovered from coronavirus are said to be 1,23,36,036 and the total number of active cases of coronavirus are 13,65,704. The total number of deaths reported in India till date are said to be 1,72,085 and the total number of people who took up coronavirus vaccination in India till date are said to be 11,11,79,578.
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath is tested positive for coronavirus and he is currently in home isolation. Maharashtra government announced Janatha Curfew for the next 15 days and imposed 144 section in the state to prevent the further spread of coronavirus cases. Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka and Kerala witnessed huge rise in the new number of cases of coronavirus. They accounted to 82.04 percent of the total number of new cases in the country. Delhi Transport minister Kailash Gahlot was tested positive for coronavirus yesterday and the minister recently took the first dose of coronavirus vaccine. Maharashtra reported 60,212 new cases in the last 24 hours. The total tally of cases reached 35,19,208 and 281 new deaths are reported in the state. Gujarat registered 6,690 new coronavirus cases yesterday. Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia made a statement asking the Indian government to vaccinate all the adults across the country to curb the cases of coronavirus instead of imposing lockdown in the country.
