Expressing his confidence on prime minister-designate Narendra Modi, yoga guru Ramdev stated that with Modi at the helm of affairs the stature of India will rise. Ramdev feels that India's status among world giants like United States and China will also rise.

Ramdev's statement came on Sunday when he was addressing a gathering in New Delhi after the landslide victory of the BJP led NDA in the general election was revealed on May 16.

Ramdev said that with Modi at the helm, Indian languages will get recognition, patriots honoured, saints would be revered and  Indian culture would be held in high esteem all over the world. India will be at par with US and China and the rupee will not be humbled before the dollar or the pound.

The yoga guru was speaking at a celebratory event to mark the mammoth victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in elections 2014.
