Exit Polls: BJP set to return for the Seventh Time in Gujarat

The Assembly elections in the states of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh got concluded yesterday. As per the predictions from the exit polls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to return back to power for the seventh time in Gujarat. The exit polls also say that BJP will sweep the polls in Himachal Pradesh for the second consecutive time but by a small margin. BJP is expected to win 125-130 seats while Congress is expected to get 40 seats in Gujarat. Aam Aadmi Party is predicted to win in 3-5 seats in total and others are expected to win in 3-7 seats as per the exit polls by tv9. Jan Ki Baat predicts BJP's win in 117-140 seats and Congress is expected to win in 34-51 seats. AAP is expected to win in 6-13 seats in Gujarat.

Aaj Tak-Axis My India predicted 129-151 seats in BJP and 16-30 seats are expected for Congress and 9-12 seats for AAP. In Himachal Pradesh, the turnout of voters is said to be 66 percent and the results of the Assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh will be out on December 8th. In Himachal Pradesh, the exit polls predict 24-40 seats for BJP and 26-40 seats for Congress. AAP is expected to get 0-3 seats. The majority mark in the state is said to be 35 seats. Congress said that it would be time to wait for the counting day on December 8th.
