Ayodhya Ram Mandir to be Ready by December 2023

The construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is expected to be completed by December 2023 and it will be open for the public by Makar Sankranthi 2024 in January. The officials of the Temple Trust announced the same. The estimated cost of the construction of Ram Mandir is said to be Rs 1800 crores. As per the orders of the Supreme Court, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust is formed and took over the construction of Ram Mandir. A meeting was recently held at the Faizabad Circuit House and the trust members have decided to make space for the idols. Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Trust said that the decisions were made after the opinions were collected as per the experts and the public. Several Hindu idols will be present in the Ram Mandir. 15 trust members attended the meeting.

The Ram Mandir comes in three storeys and it can accommodate more than 1 lakh devotees at a time. The Trust also received crores of donations after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked everyone to contribute for the construction of Ram Mandir. The devotees will be able to offer prayers for Ram Lalla in the new sanctum sanctorum. Despite of minor delays, the construction of Ram Mandir will be completed as per the plan told the trust. The entire nation is eagerly waiting for Ram Mandir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid a foundation stone for the temple on August 5th 2020.
