Maryland Attorney General Brian Grosh joins the coalition of 37 other attorneys who are suing Google.

Ten states have already taken legal action to sue Google. Now Maryland state has joined the group.

They accuse the internet company of anti-competitive conduct in violation of the Sherman Act which states that every contract, combination or conspiracy in restraint of trade and monopolization, attempted monopolization or conspiracy or combination to monopolize is fraud.

The states allege that the giant tech search engine has illegally maintained its monopoly over other search engines .

As a result, the company has bought in a numbers of customers of competition. The states are asking the court of halt Google’s illegal conduct and restore a competitive market.
