As UV rays and disinfectants are used to battle against Covid-19. The SC asked the Centre to prohibit use of disinfectant tunnels, fumigation, sprays, and ultraviolet rays on human beings.

A law student named law Gursimran Singh Narula suggested a complete ban on usage, productions, advertisement, and installation of the sanitisation tunnels as people go through it.

Earlier, it was the centre who brought it to the court’s notice that using disinfectant tunnels was not advisable as it was clinically and psychologically harmful for humans.

The top court had even asked the centre as to why they didn’t ban their use.
