The 32 year old Kannada TV actor Susheel Gowda was found hanging in his friend’s house in Karnataka’s Mandya town.
Actor Susheel Gowda who was in his early thirties and a bachelor was found dead at his friend’s house in his home town Mandya. Mandya is located 100km south west of Bengaluru and on the way to Mysuru.
Police on Wednesday had said that though they found the body of the actor they predict that the death has occurred on Monday.
Notably, Susheel Gowda’s parents had lodged an official missing complaint of their son on Monday. The district Police had launched a search and had alerted all the regional police stations across Karnataka to find him out as his mobile was switched off by then.
Gowda was the only son to their parents and was a bachelor too. Apart from acting in daily soaps he was a gym trainer too.
A case of homicide has been registered by Police under section 174 of CrPC.
Susheel had joined the Kannada Television serials in 2015 and has also acted in one or two Kannada films too which were yet to be released. Gowda rose to fame with his acting in Kannada soap opera “Anthapura”.
He also acted as a young police office in his upcoming film “Salaga” which was directed by Kannada movie star Duniya Vijay.
Speaking on the death of the young actor, Duniya Vijay, the director of Salaga told media that people have been losing hope since the COVID-19 pandemic which has disrupted the normal lives for three months.
He also added that he has seen a huge potential of becoming a star hero in Susheel Gowda and whatever can be the problem suicide should never be an answer. He also said that the series of deaths in the movie industry seem like they do not end this year and people must stay stronger to overcome the crisis.
Though the reason for his death is yet to be ascertained, sources believe that Susheel Gowda has been trying to establish himself in the Sandalwood industry since years and has went into depression as there are no chances since the coronavirus pandemic has erupted.
When the Police tried to match the photograph sent by his parents when they lodged a missing compliant with the body that was hanging in his friend’s house, Police have confirmed that both were same and informed the same news to Susheel’s parents. Police have sent the body for postmortem to ascertain the reason for his death.
