According to the report, a 25-year-old Air India pilot, Srishti Tuli, tragically died by suicide at her Mumbai apartment. The police investigation revealed that she faced constant harassment and public humiliation from her 27-year-old boyfriend, Aditya Pandit, who has been arrested. The report states that Aditya pressured Srishti to change her diet and stop eating non-vegetarian food. Additionally, the police complaint filed by Srishti's uncle, Vivekkumar Narendrakumar Tuli, describes several incidents where Aditya allegedly mistreated Srishti, causing her significant distress. In one incident, Aditya used derogatory language against Srishti in front of his daughter Rashi and even rammed another vehicle with the car in anger. Another incident occurred in Gurugram, where Aditya publicly humiliated Srishti during a dinner gathering with Rashi and her friends.

The couple had an argument over non-vegetarian food. After the dispute, they left to have vegetarian food, but minutes later, Srishti called Rashi, saying Aditya had abandoned her on the road and gone home. Vivekkumar stated that Srishti told his daughter she had been suffering in the relationship but couldn't end it as she loved Aditya. The complaint also mentioned another incident where Aditya pressured Srishti to attend a family event, despite knowing she had to pilot a flight that day. This led to another argument, and Aditya blocked Srishti's number for 10-12 days, leaving her anxious. The complaint said Srishti was constantly worried as Aditya would often humiliate her in public and block her number for trivial reasons. The couple had met two years ago when the woman was pursuing a commercial pilot course in Delhi, and they soon began a relationship. Srishti's body was found in her rented flat in Andheri's Marol area on Monday.

A woman took her own life earlier that day by hanging herself with a data cable, but no written message explaining her actions was found. Aditya was arrested on Tuesday and charged under Section 108 (assisting in suicide) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. He was presented before a court, which ordered him to be held in police custody until November 29.
