Election Commission of India rejects claims of US-Based caber expert who held press conference in London claiming that 2014 elections were rigged, EVMs can be hacked.

ECI comes down heavily on reported allegations and released a detailed statement to the press on Monday evening.

In the statement Election commission said “ECI has been wary of becoming a party to this motivated slug fest”, ECI firmly stands by the empirical facts about foolproof nature of ECI EVMs deployed in elections in India.

Regarding future course of action it said “It is being separately examined as to what legal action can and should be taken in the matter.”

However, political fight breaks in India as BJP alleges congress these allegations were part of an exercise to “defame India” and claims that this whole drama is run by congress and its associates
