Police said, a 45-year-old man has been accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death in her Plano apartment and then he posted photos of the killing on her Facebook page.

Jennifer Streit-Spears, 43, was found dead with multiple stab wounds at her home with suspect Kenneth Alan Amyx in the same flat in Plano apartment, Texas,

The photos of Streit-Spears body as well as a photo of 45-year-old Kenneth Alan Amyx covered in blood were posted on her Facebook page with the caption -  “Please pray for us.”

After seeing the post Streit-Spears’ sister called the police. She tried to get them removed from Facebook, but she was told that they cannot violate the site’s terms.

After reaching the apartment officers said, door had been locked from inside and they found Streit-Spears had been stabbed to death. They have also seen Kenneth Alan Amyx was in the apartment with knife wounds.

Amyx was admitted to an area hospital where it was determined his wounds were superficial and self-inflicted, police spokesman David Tilley said.

He was treated and released into police custody. Amyx has been charged with murder and held in the police custody in Collin County jail in lieu of $600,000 bail. After his arrest, officers discovered he has also been charged with indecency with a child in Dallas County and sex abuse of a child under 14 in Rockwall County.

According to plano police, Amyx may have lived with Streit-Spears. Though jail records list his home address in Fate near Rockwall and Royse City.

It is unclear that he and Streit-Spears were dating at the time of her death. According to  jail log lists a different girlfriend as an approved visitor.
