One woman was killed and three people were injured in blast happened in the Church Street in Bangalore. NIA may investigate the Bangalore blast, a team from Hyderabad may be visiting the blast site to collect evidences but still no formal orders have been issued to NIA. "Siddaramaiah Chief Minister of Karnataka announced compensation of five lakh to the victim who have been killed in the low Intensity explosion outside the restaurant and also for three injured”.

After visiting the injured in the hospital in the wee hours siddaramaiah said to reporters that best treatment will be provided and announced compensation to kin of injured but didn’t specify the quantum.

The victim who has lost life was identified as Bhavani from Tamil Nadu who came on a visit and one of her relatives are among the three who were injured in the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) near Coconut Grove restaurant place which is in the heart of the city.

While speaking to Media, City Police Commissioner MN REDDI said that Bhavani succumbed with to injuries at Mallya Hospital, where she was admitted with severe Injuries. Her relative Karthik was also injured and two more Vainay and Sundeep were injured is out of danger and is undergoing treatment in the HOSMAT hospital. The restaurant is located at MG Road which is a bar and restaurant

Following Bangalore incident, high alert is being issued in the major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Pune and Mumbai. The intelligence agency directed all the state to security to beef up security on busy streets.
