Narendra Modi swept off India’s national elections 2014 by a freakish parliamentary supermajority, routing his overworked and fatigued detractors with his remarkable show of strength and popularity. He pulled off the great feat by rising above his image of a militant Hindu nationalist and grounding himself as the desi avatar of Ronald Reagan, assuring to take country's  moribund economy to new heights with his formula of “maximum governance, minimum government.”

Now, as Mr. Narendra Modi gears up for the swearing-in ceremony on May 26th, India is looking forward to path-breaking changes. In short, India is finally looking forward to “Achche din...” But a large part of the “aam junta” who don't read financial papers or watch business news channels, who have no understanding of complex data and indices and little idea about the Gujarat development model, the good days mean more than just economic and diplomatic reforms.

Here's take a look at the changes the mango people expects their new PM to bring:

1. To get an autorickshaw when you want one and pay only by the meter
2. No problems in getting admissions in schools and colleges
3. Not having to worry about girls and women going out alone, traveling alone on trains and planes
4. Not having to worry about riots caused by communal disharmony
5. Adequate water supply in all homes
6. No more scheduled power-cuts or hours of 'load-shedding'
7. When traveling abroad, people at immigration counters will greet with respect on seeing an Indian passport. People will deem India as a great nation.
8. All the political stories on scandals, war and strife on prime time news will be replaced by stories on achievements of Indians and stories of success from all walks of life
