Vivo Y300 Pro+ and Vivo Y300t Launched

The Vivo Y300 Pro+ was officially introduced in China on Monday. This device features a substantial 7,300mAh battery that supports rapid 90W charging, powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and available with a maximum of 12GB RAM. Additionally, Vivo announced the Vivo Y300t, which offers a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging capabilities, utilizing a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 system on chip (SoC). Each of these smartphones includes dual rear cameras with 50-megapixel sensors and operates on Origin OS 5, based on the Android 15 platform. In China, the starting price for the Vivo Y300 Pro+ is CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 21,200) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 23,500). Furthermore, the models with 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB will retail for CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 25,900) and CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,400), respectively. Pre-orders are now open through the company’s official online store, with sales commencing on April 3. Color choices include Micro Powder, Simple Black, and Star Silver.

In contrast, the Vivo Y300t starts at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 14,100) for the version with 8GB + 128GB storage. Configuration options for the Y300t include an 8GB + 256GB variant at CNY 1,299 (around Rs. 15,300), a 12GB + 256GB model priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,600), and a 12GB + 512GB option listed at CNY 1,699 (about Rs. 20,000). This smartphone can be purchased through the official website and various online retailers. Available shades for the Vivo Y300t include Black Coffee, Ocean Blue, and Rock White.

The Vivo Y300 Pro+ showcases a 6.77-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,392 pixels) AMOLED display that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, boasts a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, and is compatible with HDR10+. It operates on an octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen SoC combined with as much as 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers a storage option with up to 512GB of UFS2.2 flash memory. The device runs on Android 15 with Origin OS 5.

For its camera capabilities, the Vivo Y300 Pro+ is equipped with a primary 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor that includes optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera is enhanced with an Aura light feature and supports AI imaging features as well as Live Photos. The smartphone also houses a 7,300mAh battery that allows for 90W fast charging and 7.5W OTG reverse charging capabilities. Connectivity options are robust, featuring 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. For user security, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor is present.

On the other hand, the Vivo Y300t is characterized by a 6.72-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,408 pixels) LCD display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,050 nits. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, which can be coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and boasts an internal storage option of up to 512GB using UFS3.1 technology. This model also utilizes Android 15 with the Origin OS 5 interface pre-installed.

In the photography aspect, the Vivo Y300t features a primary rear sensor of 50 megapixels, which includes electronic image stabilization (EIS) functionality. Additionally, it has a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera dedicated to capturing selfies and facilitating video calls. Powering the device is a robust 6,500mAh battery that supports 44W wired fast charging and also offers reverse charging capabilities. For security, the phone incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Its connectivity options are similar to those found in the Vivo Y300 Pro+ model, however, it includes support for Bluetooth 5.4.
