Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) is set to be released on May 19. Before the official release, Lenovo has begun accepting pre-orders for this gaming-oriented smartphone. The company has also shared information about the color choices and key features. The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) will feature a Q10 AMOLED LTPO display with a 3K resolution and can refresh at up to 144Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and has an 8,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 90W. Several teasers have been shared on Weibo showcasing the phone's features leading up to its launch. Additionally, pre-reservations for the device can be made on the Lenovo website in China. The pre-order details indicate that the phone will be available in Carbon Black and Soul White colors, as translated from Chinese. Sales will kick off on May 19. According to the official teasers, the Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) will operate on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, along with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. For handling heat during serious gaming sessions, the phone will include a vapour chamber measuring 5,500 mm sq utilizing 10W high thermal conductivity gel and 12W liquid metal.
The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) is expected to have a BOE Q10 AMOLED LTPO display with a pixel density of 509ppi, supporting Dolby Vision and 3K resolution. The display will fully cover the P3 color gamut, feature a dynamic refresh rate of 144Hz, and support an Always On display mode. Furthermore, the screen is expected to achieve a peak brightness of 7,000 nits and is said to have certifications for SGS eye care and reduced blue light emissions. The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) will also come equipped with an 8,000mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging. It is said that the battery can provide up to two days of playback and as much as 19.3 hours of gaming on one charge. The device is expected to include various AI capabilities and support for dual eSIMs. In terms of photography, the Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) will sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide macro camera, and a 2-in-1 sensor. For selfies and video calls, it will have a 32-megapixel front camera. The phone is designed to be resistant to dust and water with ratings of IP66, IP68, and IP69.
