The Asia Cup 2022 is currently happening in Dubai and Team India opened the series with a blast. India reported a thumping victory against Pakistan in their opening match and the team continued its success streak in their second match with Hong Kong. The Wednesday match was an easy win for the team. Hong Kong won the toss and elected to bowl first. India scored 192 for the loss of two wickets in their 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav (68 not out), Virat Kohli (59 not out) and KL Rahul (36) are the top scorers for the side and helped the team to report a huge total. Mohammad Ghazanfar (1/19), Ayush Shukla (1/29) and Eshan Khan (0/26) got the best figures among the bowlers of Hong Kong.
Chasing a huge total of 193, Hong Kong got restricted for 152 for the loss of 5 wickets. Babar Hayat (41), Kinchit Shah (30) and Zeeshan Ali (26 not out) are the top scorers among the batsmen of Hong Kong. Ravindra Jadeja (1/15), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/15) and Arshdeep Singh (1/44) took the wickets among the Indian bowlers. Suryakumar Yadav has been named as the Player of the Match for his 68 not out. Team India is now qualified for the Super Stage 4 and the new schedule gets updated soon. The Super 4 Stage matches will start from September 3rd and the final will take place on September 11th.
