The time has come to pick the Cricketer of the Generation! ESPNcricinfo's has picked three cricketing greats for the coveted award - India's God Sachin Tendulakr, Australian spin legend Shane Warne and recently-retired South African whiz Jacques Kallis.
The award will honor the most extraordinary cricketer in the past one decade of world cricket. The winners will be announced on Friday, a day that would coincide with the 20th anniversary of the cricket website.
While Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is the most successful batsman of his generation, creating a wad of records in both Tests and ODIs, Warne is the best bowler the world has ever seen. Kallis, the all rounder, has often been compared to Gary Sobers for his on-field exploits.
An elite jury of 50 members will pick the winners from the greatest of the greats.
