Don't be cross-legged
Did you know, sitting cross-legged for longer hours can escalate blood pressure? Leg crossing is known to increase systolic blood pressure by 7 percent and diastolic by 2. Also, don't sit at one place for more than 45 minutes. Get up and take a walk.
Spare your knees
Never stand upright, but with your knees bent a little. Standing with your knees locked can lead to increased pressure and stress your joints.
Never sleep upside down
Think sleeping on your stomach will deflate your paunch? When you do not sleep on your back, the neck rests in an unnatural position that might disrupt circulation. So sleep downside down!
