Narendra Modi To Launch 5G Services On October 1st

The biddings for the 5G Spectrum are closed recently and Reliance, Airtel majorly. The National Broadband Mission owned by the Indian government informed that the 5G services will be launched in India on October 1st. The 5G services will be launched through a grand event. "Taking India's digital transformation & connectivity to new heights, Hon'ble PM, @narendramodi, will roll out 5G services in India; at India Mobile Congress; Asia's largest technology exhibition" told the official statement of National Broadband Mission. The official web portal of the India Mobile Congress stated the 5G services inauguration event will be done by Narendra Modi.

India Mobile Congress (IMC) claims to b the largest media, technology and telecom forum in Asia. It is jointly run by the Department of Telecommunications and Cellular Operators Association of India. Several programs are planned between October 1st and 4th and will be focused on the evolution path of existing technology. Ashwini Vaishnav, the Electronics and Information Technology Minister stated that India is all set to roll 5G services from October. The service will be extended to every corner of the country in the next 2-3 years. The thumb rule for 5G is 100 Mbps. The 4G rule is 60-70 Mbps. The Department of Telecom received bids worth Rs 1.50 lakh crores from the auction through spectrum. Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Adani Group are the major participants in the auction.
