With Wi-Fi enabled at historical monument, Taj Mahal, the Indian tourism department expects increase in tourists to India.
The Wi-Fi internet facility in the Taj Mahal complex was launched on Tuesday afternoon by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad with a message on Twitter.
The project has been set up by BSNL in support with Quadgen, a Bengaluru based company.
After free usage limit of 30 minutes, one can continue using the service on payment of Rs 30 an hour.
While many have appreciated the government’s initiative, there are few who think it was unnecessary.
