Daniel Radcliffe may soon try his hand at direction. The Harry Potter star has expressed his desire to direct an independent film soon.

The 25-year-old actor has reportedly developed an insight into visualising the artistic and dramatic aspects of a movie, while shooting for his movies.

Radcliffe says he would love to direct a film. He does it in his head all the time, while watching other directors at work.

Daniel feels confident about directing as he's good with people. One of the major work of a director is to know what works for different actors. Radcliffe feels he would enjoy his job as an actor.

Daniel Radcliffe admits that he has picked up the tricks of being a director from the likes of Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell and David Yates. He feels most directors mistakenly assume that only they are the creative ones on the set.

Radcliffe feels even make-up artists and costume guys are creative people in their own right.
