Actress Emily Blunt almost killed Tom Cruise on the set of 'Edge of Tomorrow'. It seems Tom Cruise, who dies repeatedly in 'Edge of Tomorrow', almost died on the set at one time.

Recently, Emily Blunt revealed how during the shooting of a car crash sequence she failed to put a break on time, reported Conan.

Apparently, Blunt did not heed Cruise's instructions to pull the break in time. This resulted in the car crashing into a tree with Tom Cruise in the passenger seat.

However, Tom Cruise was not upset with the near-death experience he had due to Emily Blunt.

The actress says that Cruise was actually laughing after the incident.

The film was released on the weekend of May 30, 2014.

In the film Tom Cruise is an army officer who was sent to an assignment that amounts to a suicide mission. With no previous experience he gets killed within minutes. But he finds himself caught in a time loop in a war with an alien race, where he faces the same brutal combat over and over again.
