Wouldn't it be a treat to watch two seasoned veterans - Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone - not only share he screen space, but the boxing ring together. Yes, the two titans have agreed to come together for a new movie. Not just that, they have also agreed to put on the boxing gloves. Exciting!
Titled 'Grudge', the movie is all about two aging boxers — Kid (De Niro) and Razor (Stallone) — who come out of their retirement to fight one final bout, 30 years after their last match!
In a recent interview, Robert De Niro said, ‘Boxing is a tough sport and I am just doing it as an actor. Sylvester has done like five or six movies and he is really into it and has got much more experience...We worked very well together.’
Speaking about his character, Robert De Niro revealed, ‘It’s a second chance for my character Kid to become what he has always wanted and waited years for, to have this final bout and see who is really gonna come out on top.’
Even Sylvester Stallone, expressing his deep love for boxing, said in one of the interviews. ‘I love the metaphor about it, I like the fact that it is real classicism where you break it down into man’s athletic ability and then couple it with his courage.'
