Walt Disney's daughter, Diane Disney Miller died on Tuesday in her California home, at the age of 79. According to reports in femalefirst.co.uk, she had recently suffered a fall, that might have lead to her death.

Diane Disney Miller was the only biological child of the movie legend and his wife, Lillian. Diane's sister, Sharon Mae, had been adopted by the Disney couple in 1936. Mae had passed away 20 years ago. Diane had married Ron W. Miller, the former CEO of Walt Disney Company.

Bob Iger, the current CEO of Walt Disney, in his tribute to Diane, said that the company is sad at her demise and their thoughts are with the bereaved family. He further added that being the daughter of Walt Disney and his inspiration for the creation of Disneyland, Diane holds a special place in Walt Disney Company's history.
