The refrigerators are potential to keep the food items in usable condition, but some food items such as bread, fruits, and nuts cannot be preserved for longer time. The moldy food is always better to be avoid so as to go away our self from health risks.
It is usually impossible to scale the mold which has damaged the food. Some species of mold can produce harmful substances on the food, called mycotoxins, which are capable of damaging liver and kidneys. They may also drive our bodies to develop cancers. Storing in refrigerators in proper conditions can preserve the food, but observe everything before having it.
