8 medium Russet Potatoes
1 head Garlic Cloves (peeled)
1 1/2 cups Milk
1/2 cup Butter (cut into small pieces)
Peel potatoes and cut into cubes. In a saucepan, take potatoes and garlic cloves, add 8 cups water and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and let it simmer until potatoes are e al dente.
Drain the liquid and return garlic and potatoes to pan. Stir over medium-high heat until dry, 1 to 2 minutes and remove from the heat.
In a small saucepan, boil milk and pour over potatoes. Add butter and 1 teaspoon of salt and mash until smooth and creamy.
