Spice up this weekend with a tasty and nutritious ‘Paneer’Recipe of the day

Paneer or cottage cheese is one of the most fascinating dairy products. IT is favorite among all the age group. Paneer is considered as best substitute for those who stay away from non-vegetarian food. It’s protein content makes it most nutritious food. Infact preparing a curry with paneer is also simple. Check this simple recipe.

Ingredients:

Vegetable oil-3 tsp
Finely chopped onion-1 small size
Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
Finely cut Capsicum- 1/4 large size
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Tandoori masala-2tsp
Garam masala-1/4 tsp
Haldi and coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Dry methi leaves-1tsp
Sugar-1tsp
Salt to taste
Milk-3/4 cup
Tomato paste-1tsp
Paneer cubes-250 gms
Red chili powder-1/4 tsp

Method:

Heat oil in a pan.
Add onion, ginger-garlic paste, capsicum and cumin seeds and sauté it.
Add rest of the masalas, sugar and salt and sauté for 3 minutes.
Add milk and mix well.
Add the tomato paste and allow it to cook in simmer for 10 minutes.
Add paneer cubes and leave it for 5 minutes. Lastly add red chili powder.
Serve hot with naan and rice.
