Perk up with Refreshing Fruit Water

When the weather turns hot and throat frequently feels parched and plain water simply repels, then flavoring it up with some fresh summer fruits can actually get you going. Summer calls for increased water intake. But many of us find it a sheer pain to chug 8 glasses of water everyday. So what do we do? Simple, just jazz up a jar of water with exciting summer flavors and see how frequently you are drawn to drinking it. Besides hydrating yourself, you will also replenish your body with essential nutrients from fruits. Now isn't that a truly innovative, exciting and moth-watering idea? Check out the recipe here:

Ingredients

cold water

ice cubes

blueberries

strawberries, sliced

cucumber slices

lime slices

fresh mint leaves

Instructions

Fill a jar or glass with 2/3 cold water. Toss in the remaining ingredients and some ice and keep aside for an hour.

Serve chilled.
