New punching logo of Micromax unveiled

The power of fist that holds the wrist will make a punch in sales feel the Micromax mobile manufacturers. The brand has repositioned to knock out the competition with its technology.

The new Micromax Informatics Limited logo unveiled speaks volumes about the company’s aggression to capture the ever growing Indian Market. The brand with the latest and affordable technology could not cash on, in the growing market. The brand was left far behind by weaker strategies. But the new logo unveiled is sure to knock out competitors off their firm pedestals. The aggressive nature now emerged shall take the brand to higher levels, if the knock out is adapted in the marketing too. The entire branding will be revamped by the end of this month, said the company. The new logo was revealed at the Micromax Asia Cup 2012, during the India vs Pakistan match on Sunday.

About the punch logo, the Marketing Head Pratik Seal is quite confident to gain the market with the latest range of products coupled with strategies. Speaking at the launch he said, “Today, as we expand, this new brand logo gives us the opportunity to present a single, powerful and unified face to our customers around the world. At Micromax, we value customer feedback and hence, we are glad to unveil this new logo which has been created by the fresh and young minds. It was tough to choose one amongst 2500 entries but we all decided that the Punch logo is a true reflection of the Micromax brand which is young, innovative, dynamic, bold, extrovert and fun.” 
The Punch logo was developed through an extensive crowdsourcing exercise undertaken by Micromax, in association with Talent house India, inviting participants to submit their version of the logo. The Asia Cup 2012, at Dhaka was the venue as the company was the main sponsor of the event. Micromax brand Ambassador, Bollywood fame Akshay Kumar was the chief guest of the event amidst the thundering fans for the Indo–Pak combat.  (With inputs from internet- AarKay)
