Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced its first fully electric vehicle, the Urban Cruiser Ebella, in India with a starting price of Rs 23.60 lakh for the highest E3 model. This electric SUV shares its foundation with the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara and aims to establish a presence in the mid-sized electric vehicle segment. It will face competition from other models like the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, and Tata Curvv EV in the Indian market. The Urban Cruiser Ebella has a design similar to the e-Vitara but adds Toyota's unique styling. It features an eye-catching front end that fits with the brand's global design trends. The car has a sculpted hood that gives it a powerful look, along with stylish lines down its sides. The alloy wheels are designed for better aerodynamics, enhancing its overall appearance. The vehicle's dimensions include a wheelbase of 2700 mm, a length of 4,285 mm, a width of around 1,800 mm, and a height of nearly 1,640 mm. It comes in distinct colors like Cafe White, Bluish Black, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red, and Enticing Silver. There are also dual-tone options such as Cafe White paired with Land Breeze Green, Sportin Red, and Enticing Silver, all featuring a black roof.

Inside, the electric vehicle has a black and brown interior that creates a stylish dual-tone effect. The dashboard design is similar to that of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. Additionally, the Urban Cruiser Ebella is equipped with many modern electric vehicle features including a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, ventilated seats, a wireless charging station, a JBL sound system, ambient lighting, a dial-type gear shifter, an air purifier, climate control, and more. For safety, the vehicle includes 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella is powered by a 61 kWh battery, producing 171 hp of power and a peak torque of 193 Nm in the top E3 variant. This version is said to provide a driving range of 543 km on one full charge.
