Kangana Ranaut grabbed attention on Friday when photos of her wearing a mangalsutra and green bangles, which are usually worn by married women, became widely shared. There were lots of rumors suggesting that Kangana might have gotten married in secret. The actress has now addressed the buzz surrounding the viral image in an Instagram post. Kangana posted in Hindi saying, "Is Kangana Ranaut secretly married? " "I am shooting in the city every day. Someone took a random picture of me dressed as a character, and now I'm receiving many calls. But why is there so much fuss about someone looking married? " Kangana explained. She reassured her fans that she would never have a wedding in secret.

"Actors play various characters. I will not get married secretly, I promise," she stated. Rumors about Kangana's secret marriage appeared just days after she denied having a romantic relationship with Chirag Paswan. "No, no, Chirag is just a buddy. When I'm with him, I think of him as a friend. There’s no romance going on, to be honest. We've known each other for about… he acted in a film with me a decade ago. If there was romance, we would probably have kids by now," she told ANI in an interview last month. "If I wanted to date someone, it would have already happened. It's just a friendly connection with someone who is kind of my type—he’s also in the film industry. So, I feel nice around him," Kangana mentioned. Kangana and Chirag Paswan collaborated for the first time in the 2011 film Miley Naa Miley Hum, directed by Tanveer Khan. This movie was Chirag’s first acting role, with Kangana playing the lead female part. It also starred Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge. On the work front, Kangana was recently seen in Emergency, where she played former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
