Drishyam is a huge sensation when it released in Malayalam initially. The movie caught up all the South Indian languages and the left the box-office by storm. It has been made in Telugu and Tamil which fetched huge results. Now the movie has been made in Hindi which will release on July 31st. Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Tabu played the lead roles in this thriller which has been directed by Nishikant Kamat. The recently released theatrical trailer has created huge buzz all over and increased the expectations on the movie. As Drishyam titled created huge sensation, the makers have decided the same name for Hindi version.

Ajay Devgn is playing Vijay Salgaonkar in the movie which is about his wife and two daughters. The movie has completed all the censor formalities and it has been awarded U/ A certificate. A sequence showing a female character being slapped during police interrogation has been trimmed from the movie. Incidentally all these scenes have been approved by the Censor Board members of Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil languages. Some of the dialogues too have been removed during the censor. Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ajit Andhare and Abhishek Pathak produced Drishyam on Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
