Bollywood's director-producer Subhash Ghai will be teaming up with Amitabh Bachchan for a biopic on Sarabjit Singh, the Indian national who was convicted and sentenced to death by Pakistan for terrorism and espionage.

Amitabh will play the role of a Pakistani lawyer, and Sonakshi Sinha will reportedly appear as Sarabjit's sister. The movie is based on the life and death of Sarabjit Singh who died in a Pakistan jail, after being attacked inside the jail premises in May this year. Giving his confirmation to the development Ghai said that the film's script had been given to Big B who is going through it.
