Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Prashant Bhushan on Wednesday said that attack on AAP's headquarters in Ghaziabad was a reflection of the BJP's “tremendous frustration” over the party's rise. The AAP leader said that the attack shows the level of frustration that the BJP, Sangh Pariwar and their affiliates are going through, inspite of his clarification over the Kashmir statement.

Bhushan also claimed that he recognised one of the men in Wednesday’s attack to be the same who had assaulted him at his chambers in the Supreme Court on October 12, 2011. He stated that Tejinder Singh Bagga had assaulted him at his chamber, and was now actively campaigning for the BJP. The top AAP leader claimed that Bagga's website had the the BJP and Sangh Pariwar's support.

The AAP office was attacked by suspected Hindu activists allegedly to protest Bhushan's statement over Kashmir. Earlier Bhushan had stated that army deployment in Kashmir valley should be decided with a referendum. However, on Wednesday Bhushan distanced himself as well as the AAP from the referendum call in Kashmir.
