In not less than ten days after wrestlers Olympic medalists Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik met Union Minister Amit Shah and discussed their demands, some sort of positive response from the government side towards wrestlers' protest.

Delhi police has decided to withdraw the FIRs registered on the wrestlers. Police have decided to request the government to withdraw the FIRs filed against the wrestlers, who are protesting against the BJP MP Brij Bhushan in a sexual harassment case. The cases will be removed once they get permission from the government.

Sources claim that there were 1500 pages of FIR failed against Brij Bhushan and more than 100 statements were recorded as the witness. But only a very few have confirmed the allegations made.

Delhi police also have said to the court that there is no evidence for the allegations made by the wrestlers on Brij Bhushan. Delhi police stated that there is no “corroborative evidence” against the MP in a POSCO case filed, that is sexual harassment of a minor, they asked the court to cancel the case.
