Haryana Employees Can Booze In Their Workplace

Wanna have fun at the workplace to get relieved from your work stress? Haryana government has got the solution for it. The Haryana government has given the ease to the employees. Now they can booze beer, wine and ready-to-drink beverages at their workplace, which is inside the corporate office across the state from June 12th. Haryana cabinet has approved the new liquor policy under the 2023-24 excise policy accordingly at the cabinet meeting.

Offices that have a minimum of 5000 employees or a minimum workspace of one lakh square feet can benefit from this excise policy, that is by providing the license (L-10F) for the consumption of low-content beverages. The new policy will show an impact on Gururgram offices. There is no need for offices to serve liquor to the employees. Employees can carry liquor on their own.

The license will be granted on the payment of Rs 10L on specified terms and conditions and Rs 3L in addition as the security amount.

L-10F license will be granted by the district collector after getting clearance from the excise commissioner. The companies have to make sure that they are not serving any visitors. The canteen area of the office should not be less than 2000 sqft for an L-10F license. L-12AC, the license for event organizers fee has been slightly increased.
