Congress has lot of hopes on Rahul Gandhi and his nation-wide tour Bharat Jodo Yatra which is taking place as per the plan. The response for Bharat Jodo Yatra has been good and thousands of supporters are marching with Rahul Gandhi during his tour. A man from Nagda of Madhya Pradesh got arrested who had plans to assassinate Rahul Gandhi on his arrival to Indore. The Indore Crime branch was informed about his arrest by the Nagda cops. Nagda Superintendent of Police Satyendra Kumar Shukla told the the Crime branch of Indore sent a photograph of the suspect who had plans to kill Rahul Gandhi. The Nagda cops conducted searches for the suspect and he was taken into custody on the bypass road of Nagda finally. He was taken to the police station and the investigation commenced.
As per the primary investigation, the man is from Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh and the cops did not reveal much information. An official statement will be made once the complete investigation is done told the cops. Bharat Jodo Yatra was targeted by BJP and the leaders made serious comments on Rahul Gandhi. But the young leader was quite active and he carried out the march. Rahul Gandhi covered 1240 miles till date which was planned to be 2000 miles in total. Bharat Jodo Yatra will take place for five months which commenced from Kanyakumari and it would concludde in Srinagar by February next year. Rahul Gandhi will cover 28 states in total and Congress is quite confident that Bharat Jodo Yatra will boost the party and will lead it to power.
